Socket wrench set
The socket fits tightly into the nut and encloses it at all six corners. Each socket corresponds to a nut or screw of a certain size.
Six- and 12-point sockets fit the heads of hexagonal-shaped fasteners. Four- and 8-point sockets fit the heads of square-shaped fasteners.
Sockets have a square recessed that connects the drive of the ratchet or other drivers.
Socket
The ratchet is the drive handle through which the rotation is transmitted to the socket. This handle makes it easy to tighten or loosen the nut with little force. The tensioning mechanism allows the nut to be tightened or loosened with return movements without the need to remove and reset the wrench after each turn. The handle with this mechanism does not require much space for tightening. Tightening/unscrewing is faster compared to classic keys. The ratchet switch can be set to just tighten or loosen the screws. It is not suitable for applying a higher tensile force and can be damaged.
Ratchet
A T-handle is used to apply a higher tightening/unscrewing force. Both hands can be used with this tool. The sliding handle is suitable when there are obstacles when turning.
T-handle
The speed brace or speeder handle serves to quickly turn the fastener. This handle cannot be used to apply high torque. Used to quickly remove an already unscrewed or run the fastener until it starts to tighten.
Speed brace
The drive handles can be mounted directly on the socket. Various adapters are used when needed. Different adapters lengths are available. Depending on the need, straight or flexible adapters are used.
Socket Adapters
Based on the size of the fastener, choose the appropriate socket. About the position of the fastener and the environment, choose the handle and the adapters. Mount the selected accessories on the socket by inserting a square socket into the square hole of the socket. When a merge occurs, a click is heard.
Select the direction of rotation on the ratchet switch, whether to unscrew or tighten the fastener.
Place the socket on the fastener and start moving the ratchet to one side and then to the other without removing it. If greater tightening or unscrewing force is required, replace the ratchet with a T-handle.
