Gasoline injection systems

A gasoline injection system is an electronic control system for mixture formation and engine operation. Solving problems in the injection system requires systematicity with knowledge of operating principles and test procedures. We group interconnected elements, sensors and devices of the injection system that have similar fields of action into subsystems. In this way, we can more easily locate the fault when there are irregularities in the injection system.

Here are presented the general procedures for testing, repairing and adjusting elements of the injection system of gasoline engines. Servicing of the injection system is according to the recommendations of the vehicle and equipment manufacturer. Current test values during servicing on a given vehicle use the manufacturer’s instructions.
