Air ratchet

The air ratchet looks like a hand ratchet only it has a thicker handle that contains an air drive. It uses compressed air to quickly tighten and loosen smaller nuts and bolts.

Due to their rotary drive, they are convenient for use in hard-to-reach places, where other hand wrenches and tools cannot function. Drive and rotation speed are done manually using the controller. Compressed air is supplied via a quick-connect fitting on the back of the ratchet. Compressed air moves the blades of the drive, creating a rotation that is transmitted to the head of the ratchet. The direction of rotation of the nozzle is selected via a switch, which ensures that the screws are tightened and loosened.

Air ratchets do not have high torque and impact hammers, so they only serve to unscrew quickly when the bolt/nut loosens. After tightening the bolt/nut with an air ratchet, a final tightening must be performed.
