Pullers

The removal of gears and bearings is done carefully, precisely with the use of higher power. Often there is a small gap between the two elements. The inner diameter of the hole is often 0.025 mm larger than the outer diameter of the shaft. Using a hammer or hammer can damage the removable part and the shaft.

Pullers with suitable jaws and adapters are used to remove gears, pulleys, bushings, and bearings.

Two- and three-legged pullers

Pullers can be of different shapes and sizes. They consist of three parts: the jaws, a cross-arm, and a forcing screw. The jaw can have two or three arms symmetrically placed. The cross-arm connects the jaw and the central, forcing screw. Jaws include the part to be removed. The forcing screw is located in the middle of the cross-arm. The screw is long with a fine-threaded bolt that rests on the middle part of the shaft. By turning the screw, the shaft is pushed with great force, and the shorter jaws easily and precisely pull out the part. The arms are elbow-shaped and extend outwards during extraction, providing linear removal.

Before pulling out, make sure that the arms are correctly positioned. If they cannot be installed, choose a more suitable puller. Do not use an improper puller as you may damage the removable part and the shaft surface.
