Air compressor
Compressed air is driven by various air tools. The source of compressed air is a compressor. A compressor is a device that compresses air and stores it in a tank. The main drive of the compressor is an electric motor, and a portable one can have a petrol engine. It is very noisy during work and is often placed in a special room to isolate noise.
Air compressor
Standard compressors are piston-type engines that compress air in the stroke of compression. Compressed air is conducted to the storage tank. Many newer air compressors are of the scroll compressor type, which uses a pair of rotating scrolls to compress the air. Scroll compressors are much quieter and more efficient.
The air pressure supplied to the distribution system is controlled via a pressure regulator. In many countries, the law regulates the maximum air pressure in the system to avoid possible accidents due to excessive pressure. Compressed air is transferred to pneumatic tools via pipes and hoses.
Always treat compressed air carefully. When using air tools, use appropriate protective equipment. Do not inappropriately use compressed air, as if to blow the dust off yourself. Serious, sometimes fatal injuries can be caused by compressed air. Internal organs and blood vessels can rupture even at much lower air pressures than those in the system. Be very careful when working with air tools. Be especially careful when you are in a confined space, under a vehicle, or during cleaning, as air pressure can blow dirt or liquid back with high force. The appearance of bloating and balloons on the intestines is a sign that they are damaged and should be replaced immediately because they can burst and injure you.
