Engine stands
The engine support bar is used to hold the engine in place during removal from the vehicle. Placed on the inner part of the wing with rubber supports and the engine is covered with a chain or hook. When the engine is released, the support bar keeps the engine hanging and it is safe to perform work under the vehicle. With some, the angle of the support bar can be adjusted and the motor can be lowered and raised via the bolts that support the chains.

After removing the engine from the vehicle chassis, use an engine hoist to lift and move the engine. The engine can be stored on the workshop floor or mounted on the engine stand.
The engine stand is useful equipment in the workshop. They are a convenient device to support an engine when it is out of the vehicle and being worked on. Engine stands come in a variety of ratings. Should be used for engines of the intended size and weight.
Engine stand
The stand shall have a plate or arms on which the engine is mounted with at least four bolts of adequate strength. For safety, ensure that they thread into the hole at least six complete turns.
The engine stand plate in the extension has a roller head that is inserted into the base of the stand so that the engine can be rotated. The engine should be placed on the plate/arms so that its center of gravity is in the middle of the plate, ie the head of the stand. Otherwise, overturning the engine at one end can cause it to turn sharply and injure you. The stands have a brake (screw or lever) that ensures that the engine is stationary in the appropriate position, which allows easy and safe access.
