Head Protection

Head protection includes headgear such as hairnets, caps, and hard hats. Headgear protects your head from bumps and hair getting stuck in rotating machines.

When working under a vehicle raised on a crane, a hard hat protects you from hitting your head on vehicle parts. Head wounds can bleed profusely and often require a visit to the emergency room for stitches.

On the other hand, the cap keeps our hair clean when we work under the vehicle. Some caps are designed to have extra reinforcement at the top to protect against impacts. If hair is longer, use a tail holder or a hair net.
